The book cover design for Bernardine Evaristo’s novel captures the essence of the story, depicting the struggles of twelve diverse characters, predominantly black British women. Through the use of skin textures and paper rips, the design powerfully represents their experiences and challenges.

I also created an eye-catching poster of the book cover and made an animated version using Adobe After Effects, which added movement and visual interest to the design.
